From York in the north of England, Simon began his training as a P.G.A member at Selby Golf Club. He trained under the guidance of David Jagger, a European Tour Player. After gaining class A status of the P.G.A, Simon turned his attention to playing. During that time he played tournaments on the European Tour as well as the fledgling Satellite Tour, which is now the Challenge Tour. Simon became the first Professional at L.L.N in 1990. Combining a playing and teaching career, Simon enjoyed success in winning the 1998 Russian Cup, 1999 P.G.A championship of Holland as well as setting a course and tournament record 64 in the 99 Omnium of Belgium.

Simon worked with David Leadbetter on his game for 2 years, during which he learned a great deal about his coaching philosophy. Based on his experience and the obvious need for a top class facility in Belgium, Simon began the Pro 1 Golf Academy.

As General Manager of Pro 1 Golf S.A, Simon brings his innovative ideas, motivation and experience into the overall organization of the business.
